Tom from the NYMCC might be going to this, and so I'm thinking about it as well, (Although with the GTO) anyone else planning on attending...I hear the experience is awesome, and I've seen some pics to back that up...

about 12-15 of us went there a few yrs ago.none of us liked it.the rooms were alot more/eating cost alot more/ also there were so many cars that they couldn't fit them all in one spot.it just seemed over crowded and expensive.we booked our rooms months in advance also.oh and never mind the cops they were everywhere on horses/bikes/walking/and all sorts of cars.but all of this is just my opinion.

Hmm thats sucks and sad to hear....But perhaps I'll just try it one time and see how it goes...I have been known to get in trouble with the law a time or two, so hopefully I'll make it out with no issues...either that or just have a collection of a ticket from every state...

Still in the "possiblilty" stage though so we'll see if I go...

Joe i had a cop on a bike see me over 100feet away with a beer in my hand and i was on a dead end alley where my buddies car was overheating and he actually pedaled up to give me crap for it.my brother got a ticket for barely spinning his tires.my buddies truck got totaled park right in from of our hotel with his car trailer attached to it still.luckily his car was still parked in the garage when it happened.it was just a very crappy expensive weekend for all of us.sorry i don't mean to rain on your parade bud i'm just stating what we all thought about it.

id definitely be up for going buttt... that my last wknd of classes and finals start the friday after so most likely ill b finishing up with lab practicals that week....

but id sooo be in for a diff wknd

Just agreeing with you....Don't take it to hard...and I as I always say there's always next year....There seems to be already quite a bit planned for '09...so with the rising fuel costs and hotel rooms, start saving and jsut try to make one event next year, what ever it is....

MiS might be on again in '09...There's Seapirate, The Nationals, Ocean City (If I like it this year I may go back), and now Wicked montes....and that's whats planned now...there maybe more by the time we actually get into the year...

well as of right now theres a carnival in town.. plus im studying for finals.... and ill hav to pack sometime because im heading back to mi 4 the summer as of next friday
