its all the safety systems and crap that have to go into cars now. heck an air bag system ways a couple hundred pounds from what i understand. back in the good 'ol days you could just build a car, now it has to meet 1000000 government regulations. it all adds up to more weight

I gassed up all of the MCs on Sunday, August 24 (and may have to do so again fairly soon, given how much I've driven them the last couple weekends)...
